Supporting Children, Parents and Families
Parenting is one of the most important jobs in the world.
I have a genuine passion for people, especially children. They are our future. When I began my journey as a Professional Counsellor and Family Therapist, I spent several months visiting more than 50 child care centres, speaking with educators about the everyday challenges faced by children, parents and families. Those conversations provided invaluable insight and laid the foundation for much of my work with children, parenting and family relationships today.
Parenting is incredibly rewarding, but it can also be challenging. Every child is unique, and there is no single approach that works for every family. Sometimes parents simply want reassurance that they are on the right track. At other times they may be navigating behavioural concerns, emotional wellbeing, school related issues, sibling relationships, anxiety, adolescence, family changes, or simply wanting to better understand their child's needs and strengthen their relationship.
You do not have to wait until things have reached crisis point before seeking support. Sometimes a few conversations, practical guidance and a different perspective can make a significant difference for both parents and children.
My role is to provide a calm, supportive space where parents can explore these challenges, gain practical strategies, and build confidence in their own parenting. Together, we focus on understanding your child's unique temperament, strengths and needs, while supporting positive family relationships and creating an environment in which children can thrive.
“Every child deserves to feel heard, valued and understood. By supporting parents, we create the foundation for children to develop confidence, resilience and memories that will stay with them throughout their lives.”
It has been a privilege to work alongside many children, parents, families and child care professionals over the years. Every family has its own story, strengths and challenges. Being invited to walk alongside families as they better understand their children, strengthen relationships and grow in confidence as parents has been one of the most rewarding aspects of my work.
If the teen years have turned your parenting journey into a frustrating, joyless, and emotionally wrenching roller coaster ‘Parenting the Modern Teen’ by Louise Clarke just might be your answer. It’s an e-Book with a difference with some retrospect and reflection that makes sense. I loved it.

“Children are our most precious resource. They need love, nurturing and ultimately guidance in order for them to confidently face the challenges of everyday life.”
